Bel Canto is our exclusive close harmony group at Everybody Sing, open to singers aged 18 and above. Focused on precision, blend, and musical artistry, Bel Canto works towards competitions and performances throughout the year.

Entry is by audition only, ensuring a high standard of vocal excellence.

Mondays; 8pm-9.30pm*

Bel Canto puts their efforts into blending their voices and polishing songs to a very high standard. This group of adults loves nothing more than the pure joy and passion of singing together with a live pianist. With their beautiful harmonies and a wide-ranging repertoire, they use their exceptional musicianship to perform and compete in festivals—winning ‘Choir of the Year’ at the Royal Wootton Bassett Arts Festival in 2017.

In 2024, Bel Canto traveled to Paris to perform at the prestigious Paris Choral Festival, representing their talent on an international stage. More recently, they had the honour of singing at ‘Christmas at Highclere’—the iconic setting of Downton Abbey—where they performed in the Grand Saloon for Lady Carnarvon herself.

Working from sheet music, a good musical ear and an understanding of basic sight-reading are essential for this high-level ensemble.
